The HP invited applications for the post Finance Manager – Supply Chain Finance.

Qualification

  • First-level university degree in accounting and/or accounting certification (e.g., CA,
  • CMA, CPA, MBA) preferred.
  • Typically, 6+ years of experience with CA/CMA/CPA qualification or 10+ years of
  • experience with MBA qualification
  • Should have experience in team management and Finance Operations
  • Experience in Supply Chain Finance, cost and Inventory accounting.

  • Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Knowledge of Inventory/ Cost accounting
  • Excellent analytical skills.

  • Strong business acumen.
  • Good understanding of HP’s policies and processes.
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manages a team that supports a moderately complex business unit – Supply Chain Finance Operations and Stakeholder Management
  • Responsible for hiring, setting, and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development; ensures that the proper tools are in place to support the team and the processes.
  • Leads moderate to complex financial analysis for a global sub-business or finance function, exercising a good understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives.
  • Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and analysis to the business.
  • Review the Month end and Quarter end financials
  • Manage month-end close and Handle audit queries – Internal, EY, SOX etc.
  • The role involves performing Balance Sheet Account reconciliations & review of FA Reconciliations
  • Consults with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a limited scope.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engages in the design.
  • Creates an annual financial operating plan that is aligned to the strategic plan and performs forecasting of business results including building, reviewing, and maintaining process maps.
  • Ensures proper tools and resources are in place to support all operational activities of the department. Interacts frequently with senior management to communicate project status and escalate issues, as necessary.
  • Actively reviews and analyzes the key controls within the financial process to ensure compliance with legal and accounting requirements (e.g., GAAP, SBC, AFM).
