The Colgate-Palmolive has invited applications for the post of Supply Chain Finance – Analyst.
The Supply Chain Finance Analyst is responsible for activities in Cost & Inventory and Fixed Assets.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate and participate in continuous improvement projects
- Ensure adequate controls over the process are maintained
- Prepare MIS for meeting management requirements
- Handle escalation issues arising out of queries of internal and external customers
- Maintain the hygiene of fixed assets in the books of accounts
- Review and analyse the variances and resolve the discrepancies , if any
- Provide technical support for restructuring projects
- Review the cost variances and analyse the differences with proper substantiation
- Oversee the standard cost calculation and allocation
- Perform profitability analysis with focus on unusual items
- Ensure audits are conducted with minimal queries
- Ensure timely closing of books of accounts and passing of all entries
- Ensure all SOBPs are updated on an ongoing basis
Qualifications:
- ICWA / CA / CIMA / other equivalent
- 6+ years of experience in Supply Chain Finance
- Working knowledge of SOX
- Advanced knowledge of Cost and Plant accounting
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office
- SAP experience is desired
