The Wells Fargo has invited applications for the post of Finance Associate Manager.
Responsibilities:
- This role will support the India region and the US Regional Technology Finance Organization
- The role is an essential part of the India Technology Finance team, supporting the TAO (Technology Assets Operations) Finance and Product Management Team
- Embody thought leadership and effectively partner with Technology Finance team members.
- Centralization of financial forecasting and PO/invoice payment activities across all Technology teams – process standardization and automation on a greater scale than an individual CIO area can achieve.
- Leveraging Wells Fargo economies of scale to drive SW unit and maintenance rate reductions by bringing disparate agreements into fewer, larger, more strategic renewals.
- Providing financial support for large, strategic purchases from ideation through to payment and contract management
- The ability to multi task, communicate effectively, and possess a keen attention to detail will allow you to be successful
- Deliver data and information aligned to operating SLA’s
- Meet individual goals, priorities aligned with overall Technology Finance organizational responsibilities and strategy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics; CA/CFA/MBA a plus
- Total 10+ years of experience in corporate, multi-line business organization.
- Ability to perform complex analyses, build financial models, draw conclusions, and communicate recommendations to business leaders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to give presentations and briefings to senior management
- Creative and strategic thinking skills, including the ability to analyze business transactions and identify key Finance risks/mitigating controls,
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high energy levels
- Must be able to work independently with positive collaboration within a fast paced, team environment
- Knowledge of Finance and Accounting concepts, methodologies and systems. (Cost Basis Accounting, GAAP, Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting)
- Exposure to key accounting tools like Oracle Financials, Essbase and Power BI & Apptio tools.
- Strong knowledge in PowerPoint and Excel skills required.
- Attention to detail – Recognizes the importance of detail to ensure data integrity
- Comfortable to work UK hours supporting US counterparts
