ICAI notifies Online Eligibility Test for Post Qualification Course on ISA: Know Complete Details [Read Notification]

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI ) has notified the Online Eligibility Test for Post Qualification Course on ISA ( Information Systems Audit ). It is scheduled for 14th September 2024. It will be conducted under ISA 3.0 Syllabus.

The ICAI has requested to note that the last attempt for the ISA 2.0 Syllabus (Old) has expired. Members who did not clear the ISA Eligibility Test under ISA 2.0 will now need to appear under the ISA 3.0 Syllabus.

The members who have completed their Professional Training (PT) and meet the eligibility criteria for the ISA Eligibility Test (ET) by June 30, 2024, will be eligible to appear for the ISA ET scheduled for September 14, 2024. REGISTRATION PROCESS

Members appearing for the first time:

Step 1: Login at https://learning.icai.org  using SSP login credentials.

Step 2: Go to My Dashboard and Click on Applicable Product- “PQC- Information Systems Audit 3.0 –Eligibility_Test_Sep-2024”.

Step 3: Click on Launch Assessment and proceed for Face Registration as required.

Step 4: Close the window after submitting your response and appear for ISA ET by clicking the Assessment node on the day of Eligibility Test.

Members appearing for second or subsequent attempt:

Step 1: Login at https://learning.icai.org using SSP login credentials.

Step 2: Go to My Dashboard and Click on Applicable Product- “Information Systems Audit 3.0 – Re-assessment Eligibility Sep 2024 (Eligibility Product)”

Step 3: Click on Launch the Reassessment batch. Then click on the payment link given in the first node of the batch.

Step 4: After Payment, the following product will be added in My Products: “PQC- Information Systems Audit 3.0 –Eligibility_Test_Sep-2024”

Step 5: Complete face registration by launching the above product.

Step 6: Close the window after face registration and appear for ISA ET by clicking the Assessment node on the day of Eligibility Test.

REGISTRATION FEE

Candidates taking the ISA ET for the first time are not required to pay any fees. However, those appearing for the second or subsequent attempts must pay the ISA ET fee of ₹500 (Rupees Five Hundred only). This payment should be made through https://learning.icai.org following the procedure outlined above.

FACE REGISTRATION

Face registration for the ISA Eligibility Test will be available from 5:00 PM on August 21, 2024, until 5:00 PM on September 3, 2024, at https://learning.icai.org. Please refer to the attached guidelines in Annexure 1.

Important Notes:

  • Face registration approval may take 24 to 48 hours.
  • No extensions will be granted for completing the face registration process; ensure you complete it within the specified timeframe.
  • Members who have previously completed face registration on the DLH portal for ISA ET or any other exam are not required to register again.

PREREQUISITES FOR ISA TEST

  • Active ICAI membership number.
  • Desktop/ Laptop with good internet connectivity. (Note: – Use of Mobile Phones is strictly prohibited, if the member appearing in exam through mobile then his/her result may be withheld.)
  •  Camera attached with Desktop/Laptop.
  •  Active login at Digital Learning Hub (DLH) of ICAI (https://learning.icai.org) . ➢ Completion of Face Registration Activity at https://learning.icai.org by 5:00 PM of 03rd September 2024.
  • General Instructions for ISA Eligibility Test as per Annexure-2.

MOCK TEST

A mock test for the ISA Eligibility Test (ET) September 2024 is scheduled for September 10, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This mock test is exclusively for members who have registered for the ISA ET and completed their face registration. Please note that results for this mock test will not be declared.

To access the mock test, members should visit the “My Products” section on the DLH portal (https://learning.icai.org) and select the product titled “PQC- Information Systems Audit 3.0 – Eligibility_Test_Sep-2024”. Participating in the mock test will provide a valuable preview of the actual Eligibility Test experience.

Important Instructions:

  1. Login Check: Ensure you can log in to the Digital Learning Hub (https://learning.icai.org) using your SSP Portal credentials. This check should be completed by September 2, 2024. If you encounter login issues, please contact us at isa@icai.in , isa2@icai.in,  or elearning@icai.in. We will be unable to assist with login issues on the day of the Eligibility Test.
  2. New Registrations: If you are not yet registered on the Digital Learning Hub, follow the instructions provided in the user manual: Fresh Login Creation for Members Already Registered with ICAI.
  3. Study Material: Download the study material for the ISA 3.0 Syllabus from the ICAI website: ISA Background Material.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Total duration of the examination is 150 minutes.
  2. The clock will be set at the server. The countdown timer in the top right corner of the screen will display the remaining time available for you to complete the examination. When the timer reaches zero, the examination will end by itself. You will not be required to end or submit your examination.

Navigating to a Question:

To answer a question, do the following:

a. Click on the question number in the Question Palette at the right of your screen to go to that numbered question directly. Note that using this option does NOT save your answer to the current question.

b. Click on Save & Next to save your answer for the current question and then go to the next question.

c. Click on Mark for Review & Next to save your answer for the current question, mark it for review, and then go to the next question.

Answering a Question:

Procedure for answering a multiple-choice type of question:

a. To select your answer, click on the button of one of the options

b. To deselect your chosen answer, click on the button of the chosen option again or click on the Clear Response button

c. To change your chosen answer, click on the button of another option d. To save your answer, you MUST click on the Save & Next button

d. To mark the question for review, click on the Mark for Review & Next button

To change your answer to a question that has already been answered, first select that question for answering and then follow the procedure for answering that type of question.

Interruption Instructions for Online Assessment:

  1. Do not try to minimize the Assessment console
  2. Do not press F5 or refresh the assessment.
  3. Do not toggle between Assessment console and other application
  4. Do not press special keys (such as Windows key) on the keyboard
  5. Do not click the Taskbar, Settings on the browser.

The course access features a maximum session timeout of 5 minutes. If the learner/member moves out of the webcam’s line of sight or leaves the session idle for more than 5 minutes, access will be disabled. To regain access, the learner/member must re-authenticate by positioning their face within the webcam’s view.

Candidates should ensure they have a reliable power backup and a stable internet connection during the assessment, as the timer will continue to run throughout the session.
