ICAI submits Annual Report and Audited Accounts of the Institute for the year 2017-18 [Read Report]

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI ) has submitted an annual report and audited accounts of the institute for the last financial year i.e., 2017-18.

In accordance with the provisions of sub-section (5B) of Section 18 of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949, a copy of the Annual Report and Audited Accounts of the Institute for the year ended on 31st March, 2018 is required to be published in the Gazette of India latest by 30th September, 2018. Accordingly, the same has been published in Part III Section 4 of the Gazette of India, Extraordinary dated 28th September, 2018.

However, due to some printing mistakes, i.e., wrong printing of figures occurred, a Corrigendum in this regard has also published in the aforesaid section of the Gazette of India dated 26th October, 2018. The aforesaid Annual Report and Accounts and Corrigendum as published in the Gazette of India have also been hosted on the Website of the Institute at the link: https://www.icai.org/new_post.html?post_id=1260&c_id=200 for information and downloading by the members.

Members interested in having a hard copy of the same may kindly send their request in this behalf along with their membership number and complete postal address at which the Report is to be sent, to the Assistant Secretary, Council Affairs.
