Dr. Batra earnestly requested all involved parties to adhere to these guidelines both in letter and spirit. “In previous elections, it was observed that voters faced significant inconveniences due to crowding and activities of candidates and their supporters at the polling booths, particularly for senior members and women voters,” he noted.
To ensure compliance, the Election Cell has arranged for video recording outside polling booths. Any violations of the Election Code of Conduct will be dealt with strictly, underscoring the institute’s commitment to a fair and transparent election. “I urge all candidates and their supporters to refrain from gathering at polling booths or distributing canvassing material of any kind,” Dr. Batra emphasized.
