On August 24, 2023, the Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) released guidance regarding the “Mera Bill Mera Adhikar Scheme.” In accordance with government instructions, the GSTN has created and introduced a mobile application accessible on both iOS and Android devices, along with a corresponding web portal, for the implementation of the “Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar” initiative.
The advisory provided that starting from September 1, 2023, the scheme will be put into action, initially in the regions of Gujarat, Assam, Haryana, and the Union Territories of Puducherry, Daman & Diu, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli, as per the governmental policy determination.
