Institute of Cost Accountants in India introduces 4 new Courses, one on GST

The Institute of Cost Accountants in India has introduced four new courses including one on the new Goods and Services Tax law. The courses will be launched from next month for both members and non-members.

The new courses are Executive Diploma in Business Valuation, certificate course in Arbitration, certificate course in GST and an exclusive executive diploma in Cost and Management Accounting for Engineers.

Financial valuation, being an emerging area in the current regime, has wide scope among the professionals. Arbitration is a form of alternative dispute resolution and a technique for the resolution of disputes outside the court.

Goods and Services Tax (GST), is a historic tax reform and a game changer. As a professional, it was imperative to understand and assimilate the new taxation structure, associated compliances and the changes in business processes emanating therefrom.
