The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI ) has officially announced the launch of Mock Test Papers Series I and II for CA Intermediate students preparing for the January 2025 examinations.
Mock Test Series I is scheduled to begin on November 18, 2024, with the first paper, “Advanced Accounting,” and will continue until November 25, 2024. Notably, the “Taxation” paper has been rescheduled to November 25 due to the General Election to Legislative Assemblies in Jharkhand and Maharashtra. Series II will commence on December 9, 2024, with a similar sequence, ending on December 14, 2024. Each session will be held from 2 PM to 5 PM.

The mock tests will be conducted in both physical and virtual modes, offering flexibility to students across India. Those opting for the physical mode can reach out to ICAI branch offices in their respective areas. Students are encouraged to attempt these mock exams under a timed setup to closely replicate actual examination conditions.
The question papers will be uploaded to the BoS Knowledge Portal (www.icai.org) by 1:30 PM on the respective dates. Students can download and attempt these papers within the stipulated three-hour timeframe. The answer keys will be made available within 48 hours, enabling self-assessment and thorough performance evaluation.
Students are advised to make the most of this opportunity to gauge their preparedness and strengthen areas needing improvement.
