The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has now allowed Permanent Account Number (PAN) application through SPICe. The Simplified Proforma for Incorporating Company Electronically(SPICe) is a common application form for newly set-up companies.
SPICeform No INC32 — was notified by the Corporate Affairs Ministry in January 2017.
Application for allotment of PAN will be filed in SPICe (INC32) form using digital signature of the applicant and after generating corporate identity number, CBDT has said.
According to the Board, the Corporate Affairs Ministry will forward the data in form 49A to the prescribed income-tax authority.
