The actual eligibility is clearance of both groups of IPCE/Intermediate with at-least 9 months of actual article-ship period (excluding excess leaves) remaining. However, candidates would require up to one additional month to get shortlisted & Interviewed by the participating companies. This duration may make them ineligible. “This is a placement assistance programme initiated by the Bangalore Decentralized Office of ICAI to aid the CA students across India in getting suitable placement assistance for Industrial Training,” ICAI said in a statement.

So far, so many companies including Infosys, Amazon India, Caterpillar India, Arcesium, Goldman Sachs, Wipro and Dell India have approached the ICAI with their interest for participating in the programme, it said.

“Kindly note that the above-mentioned companies are yet to register for the process. We expect more companies to approach us once the date (I.e. August 10th ) nears. Candidates won’t be charged anything for this Placement Assistance Programme,” ICAI said.

“Please also note that although some companies have requirements pan India, however, most of the companies approaching us are operating out of Bengaluru. Therefore their jobs offer may primarily be for the same city as well,” it added.
