The Punjab State Legal Services Authority has invited application for the post of Law Researcher.

The Legal Services Authorities Act 1987″ has come into force on 09.11.1995 to provide free and competent legal services to the weaker section of the society with a view to ensure that opportunities for securing justice are not denied to any citizen by reason of economic or any other disability.

Educational requirements: The candidate must be having a Bachelor Degree in Law(including integrated Degree Course in Law) as on the date of appearing at interview from any Institute established by law in India and recognized by the Bar council of India for enrolment as an Advocate. (i) Candidate studying in the fifth year of the Five-Year Integrated Law Course will also be eligible to apply subject to completion of the 5th year course before engagement as Law Researcher. (ii) The Candidate must have knowledge of computer including retrieval of desired information from various search engines/processes such as Manupatra, SCC online, LexisNexis, westlaw etc.

How to apply: The eligible candidates shall submit their application on the prescribed form/specimen form attached herewith duly filled, to the office of the Punjab State Legal Services Authority, Site No. 126, Sector 69, Mohali(SAS Nagar) on working days up to 26.12.2017 till 5.00 PM. Applications can be submitted personally or sent by registered post to this office. Any application received after the last date shall not be entertained under any circumstances. The Punjab State Legal Services Authority shall not be responsible for any delay including of postal/Courier services.
