Jharkhand Assembly today unanimously cleared the Jharkhand State Goods and Services Taxes GST Bill, 2017.
A one-day special session of the Jharkhand assembly was convened to take up the bill today
Urban Development Minister C P Singh placed the bill in the assembly which was passed by voice vote.
Jharkand becomes the fourth state after Telengana, Bihar and Rajasthan.
Telangana, Bihar and Rajasthan assemblies had earlier ratified the GST which needs the nod of the states after its clearance in Parliament.
The GST is expected to come into force from July 1st.
