UBS has invited applications for the post of Finance Business Analyst.
Qualification
• A University Degree in Finance/ Accounting with experience in working with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP, etc.)
• Studying towards an accounting designation (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) would be an asset
• Up to 6 years of work experience with a comparable financial institution or a Big 4 company
• Delivery of complex products to internal clients i.e. Financial Controllers, ideally within the financial services industry, specifically relating to Financial Accounting and Regulatory Reporting outputs
•Working in agile environments with strong understanding of agile delivery frameworks and product management
•Strong leadership skills with the ability to work with both local and remote employees across locations
•Team player with an enthusiastic and proactive personality, a true agile mindset and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Setting and delivering on outcome-focused goals, such as using OKRs (Objectives and Key results) team player with an enthusiastic and proactive personality, a true agile mindset and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
• Analyse regulatory and business needs, producing timely, clear and concise functional requirements and specifications
• Co-develop a clear product vision, strategy and roadmap covering the full product development lifecycle (including creation, version and infrastructure upgrades, and eventual decommissioning)
• Drive new products and product changes iteratively and continuously together with cross-functional team members in the pod
• Act as product owner within an agile team, participating in agile ceremonies and ensuring the product requirements are clear to designers and engineers.
• Ensure the product is being tested together with clients to gain insights and ensure readiness of changes (e.g., UX testing, end user testing)
• Support pod Objective and Key Results and provide relevant product measurements and metrics to meet overall regulatory and business goals
• Ensure the quality and compliance of the product, from also a technical and non-functional requirement (i.e. production stability, performance, maintainability etc.)
