EY has invited applications for the post of General Ledger Team – Accounting Specialist.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years’ Experience in a similar role in a fast-paced environment
- AAT Foundation Level
- Knowledge of Word and Excel
- Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
- Used to working in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Desire to thrive in and adapt to a fast changing and high activity environment

Responsibilities
- Reconciliation of balance sheet and bank accounts (identifying and correction/reporting of anomalies)
- Monthly meetings with relevant Heads of Finance to enable the accurate reflection of transactions in the SL/ functional P&L accounts
- Production of the firms Tax packs to enable the EMEIA Tax Team to file the firm’s PSA (PAYE settlement agreement) return and disallowable expenditure for the partnership/corporation tax return.
- Processing payroll costs to record and distribute correct charges to the services lines.
