No Association with “IBBI Insolvency Practitioners LLP”, says IBBI

The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI), last day clarified that the Board has no association with “IBBI Insolvency Practitioners LLP”.

A press release issued by the Board on Monday said that “It has come to the notice of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) that there is a Limited Liability Partnership by the name “IBBI Insolvency Practitioners LLP”. It is clarified that: a. IBBI has not authorized any person to use its name in any form, whether abbreviated or otherwise.”

It is said that “IBBI Insolvency Practitioners Limited Liability Partnership” is not registered as an Insolvency Professional Entity with IBBI, and IBBI has no association whatsoever with “IBBI Insolvency Practitioners Limited Liability Partnership”.

“The stakeholders are advised to consider the above clarification while dealing with “IBBI Insolvency Practitioners Limited Liability Partnership”. This is issued in public interest,” it added.
