The Department of Trade and Taxes has issued a circular regarding the Goods and Services Tax ( GST ) new registration. The CRC branch has decided to provide clarifications of the queries related to GST new registration twice a week and at specific times raised by public, CAs, advocates.. etc.
The Competent Authority has announced the granting of permission to the general public, applicants, advocates, and Chartered Accountants (CAs) in the CRC Branch. This permission allows them to seek clarification on their GST new registration applications directly from the concerned GST Officer of the CRC Branch.
Effective immediately, individuals and professionals can avail themselves of this opportunity every Monday and Thursday, from 3PM to 4 PM. By providing this specific 1 hour time, the stakeholders have the opportunity to interact with the concerned GST officer to clarify their doubts regarding their registration.
The circular issued explicitly extends the opportunity to the general public. This signifies that members of the public can also benefit from the same circular. The wording of the circular is as follows:
“The Competent Authority is pleased to grant permission to the general public/applicants/Advocates/CAs in CRC Branch. PM to PM on every Monday & Thursday for giving clarification regarding their GST New Registration application clarification through concerned GSTO Of CRC Branch.”
