The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which was established on February 5, 2020, has paid nearly Rs. 400 crore to various government agencies over the past five years. The financial details were disclosed during a trust meeting held at Maniram Chawni temple in Ayodhya on Sunday, chaired by trust president Mahant Nritya Gopal Das.

According to the Times of India, the trust revealed that it had paid Rs. 272 crore as Goods and Services Tax (GST) to the government when presenting the accounts. Additionally, Rs. 39 crore was deposited into government accounts and Rs. 14.9 crore was spent on royalties.

The report further pointed out that Rs. 7.4 crore was allocated as a labor fund for workers, and Rs. 4 crore was paid for insurance policies. In addition, Rs. 5 crore was paid to the Ayodhya Development Authority for the approval of the Ram Temple’s architectural map.

The meeting also reviewed the progress of the Ram Temple construction, which has been advancing rapidly. The temple, a symbol of Hindu faith and devotion, is expected to become a major spiritual and cultural landmark, drawing millions of devotees and tourists from across the country and abroad.

The grand consecration (Pran Pratistha) of Lord Ram’s idol in the temple is scheduled for early 2026, marking a historic moment for the Hindu community worldwide.
