The Eaton has invited applications for the post of Sr. Analyst-FP&A.
The financial analyst will work collaboratively with finance, accounting, business operations and senior management with Segment of EMEA Electrical Finance. The Analyst will oversee and execute processes necessary to plan, record, analyze and report on the financial Metrices of the Division. This person will also be significantly involved in the development of senior management presentations and Dashboards
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly results and forecast commentary package for the consolidated Division/Plant
- Support in monthly forecast process
- Support in preparation of annual profit plan and strategic plan initiatives
- Strong reporting capabilities, manage working capital, drive scenario planning and predictive analytics for ongoing business and special projects, and have strong forward-looking line of sight
- Analyze Operational metrics for monthly results and forecast
- Responsible for publishing sales and profit number for Site/Division
- Preparation of on-going monthly and periodic financial reports
- Work with different teams to develop and integrate Reporting Dashboards for Financial digital platforms like Power BI.
- Support and propose various initiatives to reduce complexity, standardize and improve efficiency of financial processes.
- Promotion of good financial stewardship by helping control costs, driving forecast accuracy, driving balance sheet integrity and ensuring proper controls are in place
- Coordinate, interpret and respond to ad hoc financial requests within the region
- Perform additional analyses as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Accounting major (B.Com) & CA/ICWA/CFA/MBA (Finance), preferable.
- Excellent Analytical skills to interpret Financial data, Written and oral communication skills.
- Manufacturing industry experience (pre-requisite).
- Proficiency with MS-Office – particularly Excel, Power Point, Word etc
- Experience is developing Power BI solutions for FP&A areas
- Working Knowledge of Business Intelligence Tools –SAP, Oracle, BI Tools, ENCORE, RADAR, DFT etc
- Experience with Oracle Financials and SAP preferred
- 8-10 years of FP&A and accounting experience.
- Adaptable to varying cultures.
