B.Com, CA, CMA vacancy in Maersk

The Maersk has invited applications for the post of Associate Controller.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accounting standards and policies are complied with consistently
• Managing day to day operation: delivering on time operational KPIs and SLA’s
• Perform Balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline as per policy and within timeline
• Ensure Policy Adherence along with Control and compliance
• Coordination with different teams
• Daily, weekly and monthly reporting as may be required
• Understanding of Accounting GAAP for the relevant country/cluster and ensure compliance
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly period end activities
• Perform ad-hoc activities as may come up
• Analyse and cleanse all intercompany transaction to ensure they are reported under the correct entity to avoid differences during group consolidation.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned from time to time
• Report weekly Gross Profit/ volumes to the stakeholders – clearly mapping difference between budget and actual to enable visibility on the business performance.
• Ensure Policy Adherence along with Control and compliance
• Ensure Quality and conduct performance analysis and suggest improvements areas for implementation
• Conduct GL scrutiny at regular interval and ensure Data Authenticity
• Support All types of Audit (Statutory, Tax, and Govt. Internal etc.)
• Provide required functional and technical training to team.

Qualifications:

• B.com/M.com/ PGDBM/ MBA/CA/CWA
• Understanding of GAAP and adherence to the same
• 8 - 10 years’ experience in accounting roles, preferably in multinational companies
• Strong analytical skill
• Good communication skill
• Good Knowledge of MS Office and SAP
