The Eaton has invited applications for the post of Senior Financial(Tax) Analyst.
Responsibilities:
- Perform multiple reconciliations at GL level, Subledger level and Fixed Assests level
- Navigate through different financial reports out of Oracle and SAP and map it against AP/AR/GL for purpose of reconciliation
- Understand and decipher the Eaton’s financial consolidation tool and ensure they match with overall numbers from Oracle Financials and SAP as well as drill down numbers to individual financial systems
- Support data analysis needed to file tax returns, support audits and tax reconciliation across multiple legal entities
- Ability to identify AP and AR data entries from ERPs, manual feed, adjustments , journal entries in the Eaton’s financial consolidation tool to support reconcliation with ERP systems
- Continuous Improvement – Demonstrate a practical approach to continuous improvement of the processes
- Control & Compliance – Responsible for conforming to corporate policies and reporting, legal requirements, Local and US GAAP
- Collaborate with global tax team to understand the requirements and translate it to technology team
Qualifications:
- Degree with Accounting major with MBA (Finance)/CA/CWA/CS/B.com. (Accounting) with required experience preferable
- 5-8 years of accounting or corporate finance experience
- Knowledge of Oracle Financials as well as SAP
- Knowledge of multiple streams – PTP / OTC / RTR and end to end financial reporting/reconciliations and Audit
- Strong drive for result with efficiency
- Prior experience of efficiency project would be added advantage
- Knowhow of data analytics will be preferred
- Knowledge of basic tax concepts
- Exposure to tax reconciliations as part of return filings or audits or balance sheet reconciliation exercise preferred
- Solid critical thinking/analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities while meeting deadlines
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
