Job Description*
Application Support team provides application production support to US Reg. Reporting line of business (LOB) teams ensuring availability of data as per agreed timelines and also assist in resolving issues that prevent users to prepare/file any report to regulators/ management. Individual will be required to collaborate with multiple upstream teams and technology partners for quick and smooth remediation.
Individual will be a contributing member of the Applications Support team and would assist in Change Management that would involve engaging technology, following Production release approval workflow, Develop & execute test scripts, Analyze results of testing –identify and escalate defects
Associate should be able to provide expertise in overall support function including ability to research complex issues. This requires strong application knowledge and ability to understand complex SQL queries to analyze.
Responsibilities*
- Enable smooth execution of monthly production process ensuring data availability within agreed SLAs.
- In depth understanding of data flows across systems
- Monitoring feeds, scheduled jobs and proactively coordinate with technical teams to resolve any issue/failure/latency in jobs
- Assist with creation and maintenance of calendars
- Triage Production issues: Ability to research and provide way forward to resolve issues quickly (identify root cause & provide resolution)
- Monitor Data Quality checks and results
- Assist in Change Management : Engage technology, following Production release approval workflow, Develop & execute test scripts, Analyze results of testing –identify and escalate defects
- Act as liaison between Business and Technology
- Documentation – Creating and updating Standard operating procedures, providing Inputs on the Project documents
- Continually identify process improvement opportunities. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting as per calendar.

B.Com/M Com /MBA graduate or CA Intermediate/ICWAI / B.Tech/BCA/MCA

Foundational skills*
- Good Understanding of VBA, SQL and ET Tools (Alteryx and Tableau)
- Proficiency in MS office tools
- Experience in different financial tools/ systems – should be well versed with data flow
- Good Financial Acumen (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, etc.) on Accounting with proficient technical/operational knowledge
- Ability to perform data analysis and data validation
- Understanding of banking industry, knowledge of financial products such as loans, deposits, derivatives etc.
- Good Understanding of US regulatory reports
- Good understanding of Agile framework. Be able to create User Stories
- Strong communication/presentation skills (both verbal & written) – To work effectively with varying levels of people (Global Finance & business partners, Technology, etc.)
- Strong sense of urgency to accomplish tasks and serve customers in a detail and deadline oriented environment
- Excellent time management skills, Organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Highly motivated, able to work independently & a self-tarter with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to manipulate, organize, summarize large amounts of data from/to multiple databases
