ABB has invited applications for the post of Project Finance Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, CA / CMA preferred
• Minimum 4 to 7 years of relevant working experience, with good understanding of project controlling
• Experience in working on project finance, revenue recognition, POC method of revenue recognition from a project business
• Good knowledge of accounting and reporting, preferably USGAAP & INGAAP
• SAP skills especially in MM, SD, PS & FICO Module
• Strong knowledge of MS office, specifically on MS Excel & PowerPoint

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supporting the tender manager on financial aspects – FCM & cashflow. Providing input to negotiations on commercial & contractual issues. Providing input in local risk review process
• Providing input to the project execution plan on financial aspects - (as part of overall project execution plan covering all financial, commercial and tax aspects such as project execution, revenue recognition methods, billing plan, payment securities, consortium administration, import duties and GST), project cashflow planning, financial accounting and reporting (including project site accounting)
• Driving project currency exposures & hedging, responsible for the accuracy of project financial positions and profitability reporting
• Establishing project governance process, participating in opportunity / risk identification, monitor that all required mitigation actions are timely implemented. Supporting the project manager in coordinating and preparing monthly project reviews & verifying the substance for cost to complete and project schedule
• Providing support on claim management, back-charges and insurance cases and monitors the proper follow up together with the contract manager / project manager up-stream (towards customer), side-stream (towards consortia partner) as well as down-stream (towards suppliers)
• Promoting commercial awareness in the project team and providing commercial input to the project execution plan (such as T&Cs in supply management, claims, back-to-back conditions)
• Supporting the project manager in adherence to corporate governance, integrity, assurance, internal control, group charter & country specific finance directives and instructions. Following up on internal project audit reports and ensures timely implementation of all required actions related to projects under responsibility
