The Apple has invited applications for the post of Sales Financial Analyst.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business. CA/MBA preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience
- Demonstrated ability to conduct complex, data driven analysis
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate results of analysis in easy to understand business terms
- Thrive in a fast-pace, demanding environment
- Must be able to think strategically on critical business issues, while simultaneously possessing the ability to act tactically to complete them
- Strong understanding of Apple hardware products and business models
- Ability to create successful partnerships cross-functionally within a large organization
- Strong prioritization skills with ability to manage multiple projects
Responsibilities:
- Revenue & Cost of Sales Management
- Revenue planning, forecasting, retargeting, monitoring with RTM/LOB details
- Support the business in Trade Term investments, ensure they set and selected for ROI maximization
- Cost Control, Benchmarking, productivity & engagement for SAMI, CRT & similar systems roll out
- Ensure Cost of Sales within the target & Deep dive analysis on the CoS
- Co-ordinate with accounting team to ensure accurate accruals and payout Channel Management
- Pro-actively work on the credit limits and ensure no outstanding AR
- To share on the best assumption in the quarterly financials on the cost to serve based model
- Forward-looking analysis to the lowest level
- End-to-End channel claims process to be documented and signed off
- Ensure all partner claims are reconciled and communicated quarterly. Sales Compensation Management
- Preparation of India Specific Price List and communicate the Price List to the channel partners
- Review and Update VAT, CST & Customs Duty impact Review the composite tax rate on a quarterly basis
- Pro-actively analyse and include in the monthly financials on significant variance. Systems & Process Improvement
- Collaborate actively with the EMEIA FPA team to ensure increased efficiency in CoS forecast and planning preparation in full accuracy
