The GE Healthcare Global has invited applications for the post of Global Finance Lead – Integrated Supply Chain Cash.

Responsibilities:

  • Support estimates/actuals reviews for internal, GE Healthcare and Corporate reporting.  Provide explanations and analysis of performance compared to Operating Plan, prior estimate, prior year and prior quarter. 
  • Prepare presentations for senior management reviews. 
  • Drive simplification activities to improve reporting efficiencies and provide details to operating teams to target incremental operating efficiencies or identify gaps to plan.
  • Develop tools to improve pacing analytics as well as improve and digitalize regular CFO/ Supply Chain Officer publications.
  • Leverage Lean and automation to eliminate non-value added hours in existing processes and release capacity.
  • Establish, follow and update standard work for key deliverables/ core activities.
  • Partner with SBU (Strategic Business Units), RBU (Regional Business Units), and Services Operations teams, as well as Cash teams to drive improvements in inventory accuracy, completeness and drive digitization of inventory management.  
  • Support CAPEX managers in improving project spend analytics by developing better tracking of investment returns and look back at success of predictability and apply learning to new requests. 
  • Support annual budget process, including recast/standards changes.  Coordinate timing/target setting across organization and work cross functionally with other GE Healthcare teams to analyze/agree on target adjustments. 
  • Support financial month / quarter-close execution activities for Inventory, Capex, and AP.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration and minimum of 3+ years of financial work experience.
  • Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change.
  • Clear thinking / problem solving: successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function; able to quickly grasp new ideas.
  • Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in an easy-to-understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, Business Objects, etc.), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, VLookup, and Macros). Exceptional Powerpoint skills and pitch preparation.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Confidence / Assertiveness: possess influencing skills across business functions; confidence to approach business leaders with difficult messages and defend position; for example, work closely with business leaders to achieve business objectives.
  • Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others.
  • Experience working in global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows
  • Experience in a matrix environment
  • Adaptable/flexible: being open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations
  • Basic understanding of financial compliance: SOX, GAAP
  • Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six Sigma
  • Graduate of GE’s Financial Management Program (FMP); or Corporate Audit Staff (CAS); or graduate of other financial leadership programs
  • Masters or BA Degree in Finance/Business Administration
  • Prior supply chain finance experience
