ABB has invited applications for the post of Project Specialist - Finance & Accounting Operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Management
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Project Management roles
• Must have good knowledge in at least one of the core FAO processes (P2P, O2C, R2R)
• Ability to effectively manage multiple simultaneous deliverables
• Strong creative thinking and problem management skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conducting analysis of plan versus actual project performance under the supervision of the Project Manager
• Assisting in maintaining project plans and other relevant documents like KT plans, recruitment trackers, access trackers, task allocation vs completion etc
• Communicating appropriate information to mostly internal project stakeholders
• Controlling documentation accuracy and consistency, based on tasks assigned by Project Manager or Project Documentation Specialist and procedures agreed with the customer
• Assisting the Project Manager in various types of FAO projects including process transitions and transformations including overall projects and/or specific assigned workstreams like knowledge transfer, technology, and other transformation activities etc
• Leading the project team allocated to the project and/or relevant workstreams, allocating project tasks, and motivating and monitoring internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and effectively communicating with them
