ABB has invited applications for the post of Project Specialist – Finance & Accounting Operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Management
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Project Management roles
- Must have good knowledge in at least one of the core FAO processes (P2P, O2C, R2R)
- Ability to effectively manage multiple simultaneous deliverables
- Strong creative thinking and problem management skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducting analysis of plan versus actual project performance under the supervision of the Project Manager
- Assisting in maintaining project plans and other relevant documents like KT plans, recruitment trackers, access trackers, task allocation vs completion etc
- Communicating appropriate information to mostly internal project stakeholders
- Controlling documentation accuracy and consistency, based on tasks assigned by Project Manager or Project Documentation Specialist and procedures agreed with the customer
- Assisting the Project Manager in various types of FAO projects including process transitions and transformations including overall projects and/or specific assigned workstreams like knowledge transfer, technology, and other transformation activities etc
- Leading the project team allocated to the project and/or relevant workstreams, allocating project tasks, and motivating and monitoring internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and effectively communicating with them
