ABB has invited applications for the post of Accounting & Reporting Specialist – General Accounting.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce (MBA/ Mcom) is must
- Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience on SAP
- Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- SAP knowledge is advantage
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performing general accounting activities and recording financial transactions
- Conducting investigations and reconciliations of accounts as necessary for any discrepancies and executing accounting analyses and reporting in support of finance and business leaders
- Preparing reports, statement of accounts, reconciliations, statements of sourcing and processing entire Fixed asset related Daily Transactions (Acquisitions, Retirements, Transfers)
- Performing Monthly Quarterly Fixed Assets Activities (CWIP Aging Analysis/ Capex Movements Preparation.)
- Overseeing the closing of monthly accounts of CAPEX, manage the CAPEX control and approval process
- Ensuring proper accounting procedure over fixed asset acquisition, transfer, impairment, write-off, and disposal
- Ensuring all monthly closing tasks are completed and FA module are closed on time as per schedule
- Reviewing and reconcile monthly fixed asset movement report on regular intervals and handling the entire fixed asset reporting and internal and external audit activities
