GE has invited applications for the post of Senior Financial Analyst.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
• Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed
• Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker
• Experience in the use of Axapta ERP, Hyperion & Oracle
• Detail oriented with large quantities of data, but able present and communicate concisely
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work with teams across functions

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead cost accounting monitoring & correction on the daily basis, including understanding & communication of drivers and variances
• Participate in major financial estimating & planning cycles (Quarterly pacing, Strategy and Budget sessions)
• Support the monthly closing activities as required and in ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial numbers
• Own reporting process for fixed costs - actuals & planning DR submissions, various ad-hoc data requests
• Partner with FP&A and Corporate teams to support on the Operational P&L implementation
• Identify and drive automation and simplification to support monthly close
• Support other ad-hoc tasks as needed
