GE has invited applications for the post of Senior Financial Analyst.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
- Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed
- Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker
- Experience in the use of Axapta ERP, Hyperion & Oracle
- Detail oriented with large quantities of data, but able present and communicate concisely
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work with teams across functions
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead cost accounting monitoring & correction on the daily basis, including understanding & communication of drivers and variances
- Participate in major financial estimating & planning cycles (Quarterly pacing, Strategy and Budget sessions)
- Support the monthly closing activities as required and in ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial numbers
- Own reporting process for fixed costs – actuals & planning DR submissions, various ad-hoc data requests
- Partner with FP&A and Corporate teams to support on the Operational P&L implementation
- Identify and drive automation and simplification to support monthly close
- Support other ad-hoc tasks as needed
