Wells Fargo has invited applications for the post of Senior Finance Analyst, Technology Risk Control.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics
- Total 8-10+ years of experience in corporate, multi-line business organization
- 5 – 7 years of relevant Risk Management & Audit experience at a tech company or tech finance team
- Deep analytical capabilities and skills/ Knowledge of Risk and Audit best practices
- Strong Risk, process and control validation/testing and/or assessment skills
- A prior role within consulting or Internal Audit covering Risk processes is a plus
- Prior experience conducting process and procedure modeling reviews (Business Process Reengineering)
- Proven experience with process documentation and procedure writing
- Strong technical understanding of the financial services, regulatory environment, RCSA and Risk Controls
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written), organizational skills, and experience articulating issues, risks, and proposed solutions to management
- Ability liaise and collaborate amongst various teams and build successful relationships in both finance and technology business settings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently
- Ability to operate with SLA’s and measure them against metrics for continuous improvements
- Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and Int’l Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with mastery of Excel PowerPoint and Viso (iGrafx)
- Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems (Oracle, Essbase, Hyperion, Beeline etc.)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Document Tech Finance processes, risks, controls, key control procedures and any required job aids
- Create schedule for ongoing updates and ensure documentation is always current
- Monitor control effectiveness, in real time wherever possible
- Flag issues, undertake root-cause analysis, and drive process updates as needed to address the causes
- Publish all documentation, create an onboarding training guide and training calendar, conduct and record training sessions and host office hours as needed
- Manage Tech Finance compliance with applicable policies: business resiliency, EUCT, records retention
