The BDO India has invited applications from eligible candidates for the post of Associate Manager.

 Responsibilities

  1. Work profile will be for audits of hedge fund, venture capital and private equity fund for US-based clients
  2. Prior experience in Fund audits / Audit in the FS sector extremely desirable
  3. Develop an understanding of the BDO audit approach, methodology, and tools.
  4. Technical knowledge – working knowledge of Accounting Standards, IGAAP / IFRS / US GAAP, Standards on Auditing, Company Law, Income Tax and other relevant laws
  5. Technological acquaintance – MS Office (Proficiency in MS Excel)
  6. Communication skills- good verbal and written skills
  7. Have the ability to work under pressure, stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours
  8. Be willing to travel (on client requirement)
  9. Have adequate interpersonal skills and team skills
  10. Hiring is ongoing across all levels (staff/ associate/ manager)

Educational Qualification

Qualified Accountant (CA / ACCA / CPA)

Work Experience

0-3 years of experience in audit/accounting – Experience in Big 5 would be value addition

Have experience in handling clients with IGAAP / IFRS/ US GAAP preferable.
