Responsibilities
- Manage accounting, reporting, and tax and regulatory compliance, as well as providing support for global tax and treasury functions.
- Support and work closely with the local management team to help ensure infrastructure exists for the growth and strategic direction of the company.
- Collaborate with centralized regional and global teams, and manage work allotted to various vendors and professional services firms.
- Support, guide, and grow a local team.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of work experience in a finance/accounting role with the Indian market at a multi-national company.
- Experience in building and leading teams.
- Experience in management at a professional services firm.
Preferred qualifications
- CPA/CA/ACCA/MBA.
- Experience with compliance management and experience with operational and regulatory compliance requirements in India.
- Experience in finance, with operational, technical, and commercial skills
- Ability to speak and write in English fluently and idiomatically.
