UBS has invited applications for the post of Financial Analyst.

QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree or equivalent qualification (preferably CA / CFA, MBA Finance or similar) and at least 10+ years of product control experience with deeper understanding of (Invest Banking and/or Wealth Management) Product Types traded by the desk and process of valuation and its issues
• Able to understand the booking structure for complex trades and raise relevant issues to Product Control management
• A working knowledge of accounting aspects of transactions i.e. impact on PnL / Balance sheet and excellent exposure to senior level decision-makers and stakeholders
• Excellent Stakeholder Management skills
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (written/verbal) and open minded, able to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team member
• Excellent knowledge in MS office (especially excel and power point), strong presentation/communicate skills to clearly and effectively in both oral and written form

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for ensuring Global Daily balance sheet is accurately reported to the downstream consumers (Part of regulatory reporting like : LCR, LRD, SLG etc)
• Responsible for ensuring end to end management of specific regional and divisional reporting from Balance Sheet reporting perspective.
• Monitoring, investigation and escalating missing or late adjustments and ensuring adjustments are posted with GDBS unique identifier.
• Review and approve commentary on Balance Sheet Day on day movements on daily basis
• Administer GDBS Back testing, adjustment Remediation and governance process
