The Philips invited applications for the post R&D Finance controller.

Qualification

• CA, CS, CMA, CWA - work exp 10+ years, CA inter 15+ years; in area of busines partnering, FP&A ,
• Excellent communication skills, SAP- R&D & Factory related experience,
• Hands on experience on NPI- New product initiatives Driving & Business case ownership

Responsibilities:

• Execute R&D Controllership, Analyzes and reports on business performance by means of: Monthly performance, AOP, product/market/customer/integral profitability, Quarterly Forecasting, RoFo, Strategic Review, cost control, Target Setting / Remuneration, Pricing/margin analysis, etc.
• Performs forward-looking ad-hoc analysis, such as project & strategy evaluation, benchmarking, Price/Volume mix, scenario analysis, etc.
• Prepares, attends, minutes and keeps track of follow ups regarding performance and strategy meetings.
• Takes initiative to bring relevant financial issues to the attention of his/her relevant stakeholders.
• Participates in various x-BG/Sector/Market Finance improvement projects.
• Understands systems and tools.
• Ensures quality, accuracy and integrity of information stored in our systems, enabling a single source of truth.
• Ensure Control & compliance measures monitoring.
• Drives and controls certain aspects of the financial business planning process: strategic review, budget, rolling forecasts, monthly performance reporting
• Manages monthly analysis versus plan and forecast, and analyzes P&L variances
• Business partnering with Factory/DC FBP, SCM managers, Demand/Sales planners teams to identify and fix issues at root cause by Problem-solving using LEAN methods
• Manages monthly reporting such as variance analysis vs plan and forecast for both PnL and working capital
• Works with Accounting / Operation teams (such as Q&A, Supply Chain and Commercial Policy etc) to drive better controlling of actual results
• Drive productivity funnel and establish link of productivity into the P&L
• Business integrity & Compliance : adherence to FCPA and GBP in cooperation with Legal & HR & Site controller.
• Work with Site/ISC controllers on ensuring Internal controls & effectiveness.
• Supports Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly close & Audits
