The ABB has invited applications for the post of SAP FI- Functional Analyst.
SAP FI, Functional Analyst, reporting to IS Finance Department Manager and will be a part of Global Business Services (GBS) located in Bangalore. In this role you will be responsible for leading solutions in FI domain in line with ERP roadmap for the region. To ensure unified accounting practices are followed across AMEA region.
Responsibilities:
- For AMEA Region, accountable for the management of the technical and functional landscape under Finance, including technical and functional integration, full end to end process coverage in a multi-country solution.
- Closely collaborates with all other ERP functions, non-ERP domains to provide high value solutions.
- Responsible for ensuring the successful execution of the development of the AMEA ERP roadmap for all demands under Financial Accounting.
- Full understanding of ABB regional IS landscape to properly evaluate End-to-end solution deployment and alternatives, creating a flexible and scalable ERP solution with minimal non-standard solutions.
- Active management of demand to provide insightful feedback on project requests, relating to priority, alternatives, and expectations.
- Supports the installation/management/maintenance/optimization of internal and cross-functional processes related to Financial accounting domain.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in finance, Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field. CA/ICWA/CS/MCom could be preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years of SAP FICO experience with strong problem-solving skills. Multiple Full Systems Life Cycle solution deployment in vital positions for Finance.
- Strong understanding of SAP integration points with other modules and overall End-to-end business processes.
- Extensive experience in General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts receivable, Taxation. Expertise in asset management module required.
- Strong SAP FI/CO configuration experience. Should be able to work on WRICEF and good knowledge of FI/CO integration with other modules.
- Should have working experience in FSCM module (dispute management, credit management, collections management).
- Experience in management of projects, enhancements, changes involving testing, problem identification & resolution, data migration.
- Should have experience working on projects with global stakeholders and multi region landscapes.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
