The Amazon has invited applications for the post of Finance Manager.
The Finance Manager will manage the FP&A activities, partner with business teams including both technology and operations in creating and reviewing business opportunities, setting up metrics, creating financial models and driving automation and productivity improvement. The successful candidate will be thoughtful, analytical, and has demonstrated ability to effectively influence the decisions of senior business leaders through clear verbal and written communication, financial analysis, and logical reasoning. The role operates in a fast-paced, global, autonomous and results-oriented environment, and will be an important member of the business leadership team.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and drive the core financial processes and reporting for the business.
- Lead Financials and Business Metrics Reviews with senior leadership.
- Create short and long term financial forecasts to assist business in decision making
- Analyze the root cause drivers of the variances
- Identify and create business metrics to understand the operational and financial health of the business and drive improvement.
- Influence others, insist on the highest standards, have bias for action and challenge the status quo
- Identify operating improvements, deep dive on cost structures, and analyze business opportunities/investments.
- Assess impact of new business ideas and initiatives
Qualifications:
- Professional Qualification such as CPA, CA, CMA or MBA in Finance
- 8+ years of experience in business, accounting, finance or consulting
- 5+ years of experience managing teams and ability to develop individuals and teams
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills and able to work effectively with global teams
- Experience supporting new business launches and initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Experience in ERP systems like Oracle, etc. and Cognos/ Hyperion
