The IBM has invited applications for the post of Business Transformation Consultant Finance Transformation.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients to determine their business issues and recommend solutions to drive business value. You will be responsible to document current, and design future operational scenarios (processes, models, rules, use cases, policies, plans and solutions).
  • apply in-depth consulting skills and business knowledge to analyze the client’s business issues, formulate hypotheses and test conclusions to determine appropriate solutions.
  • Work with the client and other consultants to convert business requirements into a set of structured business process, knowledge, technology, and organization specifications that satisfy the client’s strategic and operational objectives.
  • Assist the finance function to outline the value proposition and prepare the roadmap for finance transformation, aligned to the finance vision and strategic objectives.
  • Assess, define and develop a finance target operating model. Design business and process models, and help define finance technology strategy, architecture and roadmap.
  • Help define a sustainable cost reduction model for the business and enterprise functions, including finance operations.
  • Define finance service delivery model and develop business case; by performing a comprehensive Shared Services/ Global Capability Centre assessment, including activity analysis, process split and governance.
  • provide business processes advisory services by performing current state assessments, identify improvement areas and design optimal future state using the latest BPM tools.
  • provide your finance domain expertise to execute technology led enterprise transformation projects for our clients. You will be responsible for finance and related business process discovery / analysis in order to advice clients on best practices and propose leading ERP solutions and exponential technologies on Automation , Blockchain, Intelligent Workflows and Analytics, driven by AI.
  • Specialize in FP&A consulting and implementing Enterprise Performance Management technology solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Professional Finance / Accounting education and training (CA / CPA / CMA) or MBA from recognized Tier-1 B-School
  • Must have an undergraduate degree, followed by relevant work experience in finance and accounting (Big 4 experience preferred)
  • Should possess demonstrable knowledge and experience in finance operations (R2R / P2P / O2C / FP&A / Treasury); and understand impacts in people, processes, controls and technology due to changes induced by finance transformation.
  • Should have familiarity with Enterprise Risk frameworks and advisory capability on Internal Controls /GRC/SOX compliance.
  • Expertise with BPM tools, like IBM BlueworksLive, MS Visio
  • Fluency in English
  • Leading project work streams and ability to work independently
