Amazon has invited applications from eligible candidates for the post of FinOps Specialist.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identifying root causes for problems within the supply chain or in internal Amazon systems and leading the initiative of fixing these problems- conduct follow-up tasks, communicate opportunities for improvement and agree on action plans
- Analyze underlying issues and root cause to improve processes and customer experience.
- Acting as the main point of contact for a specific line of business (while working on the overall DE queries) and liaise with BPs, Retail, Internal teams & Vendors with the goal to develop strong business relationships, create mutual trust, and resolve any conflicts to avoid shipment holds, Legal issues or other business interruption.
- Addressing vendor account-related inquiries and concerns from BP teams and also ensuring to resolve the underlying issues.
- Drive defect resolution for identified issues.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for amicable Vendor solutions.
- Work with global stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and help drive the same. This would include driving a culture of continuous improvement through quality initiatives like Lean & Six Sigma.
REQUIREMENTS
- Analyzing metrics relating to operational performance and effectively presenting data to BP, Management, and internal teams.
- Working actively and accurately on an independent basis; giving great attention to detail and displaying the initiative to quickly identify and resolve variances, failures, and discrepancies
- Interacting with Retail & Finance teams while working on the SVOT queries/escalations and agreeing on priorities, business decisions, objectives, and communication.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge & Skills/ Business Acumen/ Education & Experience
- CA, CPA or CWA, with 8+ or more years of post-qualification experience in Shared Services, Accounts Payable
- Strong Customer focus (both Internal / External).
- A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.
- Strong interpersonal skills — including written and oral communication skills.
- Expertise in Six Sigma defect reduction techniques (DMAIC, etc.)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge & Skills/ Business Acumen/ Education & Experience
- Retail industry experience (Preferred)
. Experience using Oracle Financial Applications (Preferred)
- Strong Customer focus (both Internal / External).
- A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.
- Strong interpersonal skills — including written and oral communication skills.
- Expertise in Six Sigma defect reduction techniques (DMAIC, etc.)
