Job Description
- Manage both in-house and outsourced R2R operations for multiple legal entities with complex & voluminous transactions, responsible for their accounting & compliance in accordance with US GAAP & SOX/Standard Operative Procedures respectively
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality of information as required.
- Review payroll accounting methods and procedures; recommend changes to
- Payroll accounting systems, automated or manual, and implement change as directed.
- Ability to lead complex projects independently.
- Ability to take on & resolve complex accounting/process issues.
- Planning and driving book close activities, effectively liaising between key account partners
- Support financial and compliance audits by liaising with controllers and auditors.
- Drive post-mortem reviews with Key stakeholders including Outsourcing partners and monitoring the key operational metrics & SLA’s
- Ability to think critically and drive process improvements.
- Build and maintain effective partnerships with key cross-functional stakeholders.
Basic Requirements
- 12 – 14 years of working experience in Accounting Operations, within a process-oriented and ERP driven MNC environment.
- CA/CPA is a requirement
- Strong Accounting background with a controllership mindset.
- Excellent communication & networking skills, handle expectations of senior leadership and key internal teams/external partners. Have an executive presence.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Financials ERP, Microsoft XL, PPT, Word and other office tools
- It should be independent and operate with limited supervision.
- Strong project management skills.
- Solution mindset and strong analytical skills.
- Strong transformation background, questioning the status quo.
