Responsibilities:
- Preparation & review of Inputs to externally reported documents (Statutory Financial Reports, ASX Profit Announcements, Japanese return/ US profit announcements etc), ensuring compliance with accounting, disclosure, and legislative & Regulatory requirements.
- Analytical review of the Group legal entity and the Group’s results on a monthly, half-yearly & annual basis
- Address and resolve issues raised in relation to the groups reporting requirements including remediation of issues arising from dry run and half & year-end
- Preparation & review of monthly Finbook, identification and timely resolution of issues arising on a monthly basis.
- Identify key trends and seek an explanation for key movements in balances and transactions
- Identify and implement continuous improvement to existing reporting process whilst engaging in projects and ad-hoc analysis
Key Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and CA/CPA Qualified
- 3 + years’ experience in audit with financial services clients OR 5+ years in reporting within an ASX Listed Financial Services business
- Strong knowledge of group & statutory reporting
- Solid knowledge of accounting frameworks, accounting standards (IFRS) and Corporations Act requirements as they relate to Legal Entity reporting
- Good understanding of Financial Services products and services
- Sound written and oral communication skills and the ability to confidently express ideas/findings.
- Highly motivated &organised with a desire to perform at a high level
Salary:
$95,000 – $100,000 + Superannuation + Bonus
