CA Election 2021: ICAI notifies List of Elected Members to 25th Council [Read Notification]

The Institute has notified the list of Elected Members of the 25th Council of CA Election 2021.

“​​In Pursuance of Rule 36 of the Chartered Accountants (Election to the Council) Rules, 2006, the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is pleased to notify for general information the names (in alphabetical order), membership numbers, and places of the members, who have been elected to the Twenty-Fifth Council of the Institute from the constituencies,” the ICAI notified.

Firstly, from the constituency of Western India Regional Constituency comprising the States of Goa, Gujarat, and Maharashtra and the Union Territories of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu the 11 members have been elected.

Secondly, from the constituency of Southern India Regional Constituency comprising the States of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana and the Union Territories of Lakshadweep and Pondicherry 6 members have been elected.

Thirdly, from the constituency of Eastern India Regional Constituency comprising the States of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Orissa, Sikkim, Tripura, West Bengal, and the Union Territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands 3 members have been elected.

Fourthly, from the constituency of Central India Regional Constituency comprising the States of Bihar, Chattisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh 6 members have been elected.

Lastly, from the constituency of Northern India Regional Constituency comprising the States of Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Punjab and the Union Territories of Chandigarh, Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh 6  members have been elected.
