In a recent Twitter announcement, CCM CA (Dr). Rohit Ruwatia Agarwal has unveiled a major shift in the CA exam landscape. According to the statement, significant modifications are in the pipeline for the CA Foundation and CA Intermediate Exams.

The noteworthy update discloses that both the CA Foundation and CA Intermediate Exams will now be conducted thrice a year, providing aspiring chartered accountants with more opportunities to demonstrate their skills and knowledge. In contrast, the CA Final Exam will continue to maintain its current frequency, being held twice annually.

Despite this groundbreaking reveal, it’s essential to note that the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has not yet issued an official statement or notification regarding these changes. The lack of confirmation from the regulatory body leaves students and stakeholders eagerly awaiting further details.

The specifics of the revised exam schedule, including dates and other relevant information, are anticipated to be disclosed by ICAI in the coming days. The announcement by CCM CA (Dr). Rohit Ruwatia Agarwal has sparked widespread curiosity and anticipation within the CA community, and candidates are advised to stay tuned for official updates from ICAI.

As the news unfolds, it raises questions about how these alterations will impact the preparation strategies of CA aspirants and the overall dynamics of the examination process.

Additionally, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI ) will soon launch the Centralised NOC (Non Objection Certificate) policy on the UDIN ( Unique Document Identification Number ) Portal.

Getting NOC from a retiring Auditor is always a critical job for an Auditor. Particularly young CA’s in practice currently, face a lot of problems while obtaining NOC from senior members.

Many CAs have been booked for professional misconduct for not getting NOCs. Now, a separate NOC column will be introduced on the UDIN portal itself, which is a very good step.

CCM CA. (Dr). Rohit Ruwatia Agarwal confirmed on X that the Institute will implement the same in UDIN Portal this year.
