CA Exam Postponement: ICAI issues Important Announcement [Read Notification]

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has issued an important announcement regarding the rescheduling of the May 2024 examinations.

This decision comes following the announcement of the 18th Lok Sabha Elections by the Election Commission, which will be conducted in multiple phases from April to June 2024.

In a statement released on 16th March 2024, the Examination Department of ICAI reiterated its commitment to ensuring fair and smooth conduct of exams, especially in cases where exam dates coincide with significant national events like the Lok Sabha Elections. As per the Election Commission's schedule, the elections will commence on 19th April 2024 and conclude on 1st June 2024, with counting scheduled for 4th June 2024.

In line with these developments, ICAI will release the detailed revised schedule of the May 2024 Examinations on 19th March 2024 (Evening) on their official website www.icai.org. Students preparing for the Chartered Accountants Examinations in May 2024 are advised to stay updated with the revised schedule and other important announcements on the ICAI website.

Director (Examinations) S. K. Garg emphasized the institute's efforts to minimize disruptions for students and ensure a conducive exam environment during this period. Students are urged to bear with ICAI as they finalize the revised exam schedule to accommodate the Lok Sabha Election dates.
