The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has declared the results of the CA Final Examination (Old and New Scheme), Foundation Examination held in July 2021.
Ruth Clare Dsilva from Mangaluru and Malavika R Krishnan from Palakkad, Kerala have secured the first two positions in Chartered Accountants Final Examination (Old Course) Exams.
Nandini Agrawal from Morena, Sakshi Airan from Indore, and Bagrecha Sakshi Rajendrakumar from Karnataka have secured the first Three positions in Chartered Accountants Final Examination (New Course) Exams.
Details of Foundation Exams
The total number of candidates who appeared in the Foundation Exam July 2021 was 71967 out of which 38917 were females and 33050 were males. The number of females who passed the examination was 10150 i.e. 26.08% and the number of males who passed the examination was 9008 i.e. 27.26%. Overall, out of 71967 candidates, 19158 cleared the examination i.e. 1.57%. The exam centers for Foundation Exams were 694 in number.
Details of Final Exam under Old Scheme
In ‘Group I’ out of 12556 candidates only 1348 candidates cleared the exam i.e. 10.74%. In ‘Group II’ out of 17044 candidates, only 2194 candidates cleared the exam i.e. 12.87%. In both the groups, 3949 candidates appeared out of which only 62 candidates passed the examination with just 1.57% result.
Details of Final Exam under New Scheme
In ‘Group I’ out of 49358 candidates only 9986 candidates cleared the exam i.e. 20.23%. In ‘Group II’ out of 42203 candidates, only 7328 candidates cleared the exam i.e. 17.36%. In both the groups, 23981 candidates appeared out of which only 62 candidates passed the examination with just 11.97% result.
