The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) rescheduled the November 2020 CA examination in Tamil Nadu due to the Nivar cyclone.
The ICAI in view of heavy rains due to Nivar cyclone and consequent disruption of normal life in some cities in the State of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry notified change in the schedule of examinations in certain cities.
The Intermediate (Integrated Professional Competence) Examination (Group I), Paper 2, Business Laws, Ethics and Communication and Intermediate Examination (Group I), Paper 2, Corporate and Other Laws which were previously scheduled on 24th November 2020 are now rescheduled on 9th December 2020.
The Final (Old) Examination (Group I) Paper 3, Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics; Final (New) Examination (Group I) Paper 3, Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics; and Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) (Module III) which were previously scheduled on 25th November 2020 are now rescheduled on 11th December 2020.
The Intermediate (IPC) Examination (Group I), Paper – 3, Cost Accounting and Financial Management and Intermediate Examination (Group I) Paper – 3, Cost and Management Accounting which were previously scheduled on 26th November 2020 are now rescheduled on 12th December 2020
The ICAI notified that The rescheduled Examination, as aforementioned shall now be held on the same examination centres and at the same timings i.e. 2 PM to 5 PM.
Admit Cards already issued would remain valid for the rescheduled date.
However, the ICAI clarified that the schedule of examinations notified vide Notification No.13-CA(Exam)/N/2020 dated 21st August 2020 in respect of all other cities shall remain unchanged.
