CA Exams January 2025 Results Out! ICAI Releases CA Foundation, Intermediate, Where and How to Check

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially declared the results for the CA Foundation and Intermediate exams held in January 2025. Aspiring Chartered Accountants who had attempted the January iteration of the exams can now check their results on the official ICAI website – icai.nic.in.

Around 1,20,609 candidates had appeared for the ICAI CA Foundation exam in January. The high-level of scrutiny demanded by the CA profession has a direct nexus with the pass percentage of the exam as well, with only a fraction of the total aspirants coming out successfully.

The CA Foundation exam is the entry-level test for aspiring Chartered Accountants, assessing their knowledge in accounting, business laws, and quantitative aptitude. It acts as the first gateway for students who have completed their 12th-grade education and wish to pursue a CA career. On the other hand, the CA Intermediate exam is the second stage of the CA qualification process, designed for those who have cleared the Foundation level or hold an eligible graduate qualification.

In an official statement published on the ICAI website on February 28, 2025, the institute had earlier notified that the CA January 2025 exam results would be declared in the late evening of March 4, 2025.

How to Check ICAI CA January 2025 Exam Results

• Visit the official ICAI website icai.nic.in.
• Navigate to the results portion at https://icai.nic.in/caresult/
• Select the appropriate exam result – Foundation, Intermediate or Intermediate Examination - UNITS
• Enter your six-digit roll number
• Provide your registration number
• Enter the captcha code displayed on the screen
• Click on "Submit" to view and download your results
• Candidates are advised to keep a printout of their result for future reference. Those who did not clear the exams can apply for the next attempt scheduled for May 2025.

Candidates who appeared for the Intermediate Examination in January 2025 may also access the Merit List at https://icai.nic.in/caresult/ipc/merit-login.php.
