In an important update regarding the CA Foundation Examination for December, 2023, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has issued an advisory on Monday advising the eligible candidates under the Existing Scheme of Education and Training to register in the Foundation Course on or before 1st July, 2023.
“Candidates eligible for December, 2023 CA Foundation Examination under the Existing Scheme of Education and Training, are advised to register in the Foundation Course on or before 1st July, 2023,” ICAI said in a statement.
Last week, the ICAI had announced the date of Chartered Accountancy – CA Foundation examination. It is scheduled to be held in December 2023 under the Existing Scheme of Education and Training.
Recently, ICAI has clarified that the December 2023 Chartered Accountancy – CA Foundation Exams will be conducted as per the existing syllabus and not the new CRET Scheme approved by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA). The students shall follow the existing syllabus for the preparation. In May 2024, the revised Scheme is scheduled to come into effect. It comprises improvements to all course levels, such as modifications to the training process and the combining and reduction of some courses.
