Responsibilities:
– Conceiving, implementing (with analyst support), and publishing research on regional interest rate markets as a part of a global investment strategy
– Working with the regional team to track key economic trends across the region and draw implications for the relevant interest rates markets
– Sharing views and analysis with clients, and responding to inquiries about foreign exchange and interest rate markets from clients and others within the firm
– Collaborating with colleagues on global rate strategy teams on market calls and broader thematic analysis and research
Desired Qualification:
– Post Graduate Degree in Finance, Economics or related field
– 2-3 years of total working experience in financial markets, preferably in interest rates/fixed income /FX strategy
– Good understanding of modern econometric techniques
– Practical experience with econometrics/statistical packages and external economic/market databases
– Excellent command of spoken and written English
– Economics background with R proficiency and research/strategy experience can also apply
