NHPC has invited applications for the positions of Trainee Officers – Law and Finance.
NHPC Limited is a premier Schedule – A, ‘Mini Ratna’ Company of the Government of India involved in the construction and operation of Hydro, Solar and Wind Power Plants across the country especially amidst the beautiful surroundings and breathtaking views of the mountainous region including the region of Devbhoomi Himalayas.
Position : Trainee Officer (Law)
Minimum Qualification : Integrated Course) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade from recognized Indian University /Institute recognized by Bar Council of India. Full time regular Graduate Degree in Law (Professional) (3 years LLB or 5 Years .
Interested & eligible candidates will have to appear for Common Law Admission Test – CLAT 2020 applicable for admission to Post-Graduation Courses. Candidates obtaining the minimum qualifying marks shall only be eligible for the next stage of selection. The minimum marks for Recruitment of Trainee Officer (Law) – 2020 in NHPC required in CLAT-2020 (for admission to LLM/ PG Courses) shall be as per the Qualifying Marks set by CLAT Authorities. In the absence of any Qualifying Marks set by CLAT, the following shall be treated as the Minimum Qualifying Marks in CLAT for consideration of candidates for next stages of selection process in NHPC:
Unreserved Vacancy- 40% Marks
Reserved Vacancy- 30% Marks

Position: Trainee Officer (Finance)
Minimum Qualification: Graduate with CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India / ICWA or CMA from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (formerly known as Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India).Passed Candidates are eligible to apply.
Candidates shall be shortlisted out of the candidates registered with NHPC as per merit based on the CA/CMA score and will be provisionally selected and extended “Offer of Appointment” on a provisional basis. Candidates with a valid scores in CA/CMA exam can apply.
